Merchantville added 59 resident cases of COVID-19 in December and a total of 203 cases since March. Most recent cases include young adults under 40 and teens. Please protect yourself and others - wear a mask, stay physically distant from those you don't live with and not gathering in social groups. Camden County provided a breakdown of cases through December 31st. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to date is 28,768 in Camden County today and 747 total fatalities. New Jersey has counted 477,360 cumulative cases in the state since March and 17,021 lab-confirmed coronavirus deaths, according to the state Health Department.

Rowan, a single mother by choice and, business owner, vocally advocates that - much like herself - all women can realize their dreams and should never fear doing that by themselves.

Age 70, of Voorhees, formerly of Merchantville; passed away December 28, 2020 of Covid-19 related complications. Predeceased by his parents, William C. and Inez E. Fallon of Merchantville and brother James, he is survived by his daughter Victoria (Benjamin Patti), son Thomas (Meghan) and grandson Tommy, daughter Jenna, sister Mary (Nettleman), brothers William, Robert, John, Joseph, Peter and Paul. Tom was a graduate of St. Peter School, Merchantville H.S. and Camden County Community College. He and his former wife, Patricia (nee Cinelli), owned and operated several businesses, including Fallon ARCO and Shell service stations in Merchantville. Tom is remembered as a fun loving, dry humored, avid follower of Penn State football. Roland H. Ernst of Merchantville, NJ, died on November 13, 2020 at the age of 78. He is survived by his sister Henni; two brothers Bill and Gordon; grandchildren Amanda, Gregory and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. On December 15, 2020, age 84, (nee McArdle) of Pennsauken, NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard M. and is survived by two sons Richard Jr. and Robert (Lisa); eight daughters Peg Wilson, Annie Barracliffe (Carl LeVotch), Julie (late Russ) Nesst, Catherine (Tom) Erskine, Nora (Bob) Baker, Mary (John) Marlow, Jone-Marie (Randy) Altshuler and Carolee (George) Fisher.
