You're Invited to Sunday Tea at L'Arche!

Join our community and guests from neighboring L'Arche communities as we share stories of daily life and the practices that make L'Arche unique. It is our hope that our guests will gain a greater understanding of the lived reality of community life by hearing the experiences of core members and assistants who have lived in community for several years. Join us for one of the following dates: Sunday, April 1st, April 15th or May 6th from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. The gathering will be casual and no dress code is required.  Baked goods, light sandwiches, and tea will be served. A gun shop in Merchantville raises questions

A quaint Camden County borough of about 3,800, Merchantville is best known for Victorian architecture and, lately, a move to merge with adjacent Cherry Hill. But unlike the notion of Merchantville becoming one with its far larger neighbor, the RayCo Armory sparked no opposition. Until recently. I hadn't noticed RayCo either, until DiSalvo pointed it out on a recent blustery morning. Like a half dozen nearby businesses, it's partly obscured by a huge fried-chicken establishment. http://bit.ly/wmdiWg

Autumnal Equinox

On September 22nd a lazy void of course Moon period impacts early risers. By mid-morning the Moon enters sensitive Pisces. Midday lunar alignments with Uranus and Saturn gracefully boost ambitions. A sense of possibility can be entrancing. Creative individuals find their muses close at hand. If a get together with pals is among the options, by all means, make it happen. The more the merrier, especially if a shared purpose is served. For partygoers and romantics, the evening is enchanting. The Sun enters Libra tonight, marking the autumnal equinox and the beginning of the new season. Once again the forces of darkness and light are balanced. To welcome fall, a late night trine between the Moon and Venus fosters loving vibes and gives many folks reasons to laugh, love, and be thankful. By Eric D. Linter Moon in Aquarius v/c 12:00AM-8:27AM Moon enters Pisces, Sun enters Libra.

Awards for best dressed, biggest dog, best pack, and more! Support local shelters by donating new toys and dog food to receive a free ticket for some awesome give-aways. Looking for a new best friend? Adoptable dogs will be participating in the Strut so come check them out! Mutt Strut will be paired with Merchantville Market Off Centre and all proceeds from registration, sponsors and vendor fees will go toward local groups supporting animal welfare!
