Richard “Dick” Storey Sr., 93, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021. He was born July 2, 1927, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to James Robert and Mildred Ethel (Strawbridge) Storey. The second of two children, he grew up spending summers at a family cottage in Dauphin, Pennsylvania, on the Susquehanna River, where he learned to love swimming, rowing and outdoor life. In 1955, after the birth of their second son, James, he took a new job as a quality control manager with Campbell Soup Company. The family moved to Merchantville, New Jersey, where their third son, Robert, was born. Over the next 40 years with Campbell Soup Company, they lived in 10 different locations around the United States, New Jersey, Minnesota, California, Arkansas and Ohio. Dick was preceded in death by Ann, his wife of nearly 70 years; and his sister, Marjorie (William) Reinaker. He is survived by three sons, Douglas (Claire), James (Robin) and Robert (Anne); seven grandchildren, Robert (Kate), Sarah (Brendan) McGillick, Brian, Nathan (Zara), Elena, Nicholas and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Jane and Mattax; and many nieces and nephews. Age 70, of Voorhees, formerly of Merchantville; passed away December 28, 2020 of Covid-19 related complications. Predeceased by his parents, William C. and Inez E. Fallon of Merchantville and brother James, he is survived by his daughter Victoria (Benjamin Patti), son Thomas (Meghan) and grandson Tommy, daughter Jenna, sister Mary (Nettleman), brothers William, Robert, John, Joseph, Peter and Paul. Tom was a graduate of St. Peter School, Merchantville H.S. and Camden County Community College. He and his former wife, Patricia (nee Cinelli), owned and operated several businesses, including Fallon ARCO and Shell service stations in Merchantville. Tom is remembered as a fun loving, dry humored, avid follower of Penn State football. Kathleen Foster Lippy, 74, of Hampstead, MD passed away on July 24, 2020. Born December 9, 1945 in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Harnish) Foster and the devoted wife of Donald Lippy. Kathleen was a graduate of Merchantville High School (NJ) class of 1963; where she excelled in all sports. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Lippy; daughter, Tracey Rill and husband Bradley; son, Matthew Lippy; four grandchildren: Tyler Rill and fiancee, Kristina Savage, Logan Rill, Keegan Rill, Molly Rill and great-granddaughter, Maci Rill. Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Leonard F. Formanek. Born in 1929 in Philadelphia to the late Collette A. (Rowan) and William S. Gannon and raised during the Great Depression in the Cramer Hill section of Camden. Colette worked as a long-distance operator for Bell Telephone in the Bourse Building in Philadelphia. After her marriage in 1950, Colette raised her nine children over the span of four decades in Paulsboro, East Camden and Merchantville. She is survived by her nine children, Colette (David) New of Tabernacle; Barbara (Charles Stevenson) Formanek of Williamsburg, VA; Judith (Theodore) Pettek of Toms River; Leonard (Sharon) of Charlotte, NC; Eileen (Charles) Gorman of Camden; Joseph (Cynthia) Formanek of Coopersburg, PA; Maria (Thomas) Murt of Hatboro, PA; Lisa (Patrick) Roche of Doylestown, PA; Michele (Stephen) Pedrani of Neshanic Station, and a legacy of 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Full obituary.

Dolores Thelma Foulke (nee Gosa), age 89 of Merchantville passed peacefully at home on Monday, May 11, 2020. Born September 8, 1932 in Camden to Thelma Gosa (Holmes) and Thomas Gosa, she was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School and worked at Camden Bank & Trust and the Cherry Hill Library for over 30 years. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Lewis H. Foulke Sr.; three children, Lewis H. Foulke Jr. (Sharon), Thomas W. Foulke, Kerry Foulke Smith (Marty); five grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Foulke, Thomas, Patrick and Marley Smith; and, a sister, Mary Alice Casey. Full obituary.

Theodore William Landskroener, a former Navy pilot who owned and operated a successful window and door business in Queen Anne's County for more than 40 years, died May 2, 2020. He was 96. Born in Bethlehem, PA, Ted's family moved to Merchantville, NJ, when the boys were young, and his dad opened the Delmarva Sash & Door Company (DSD) in Barclay in 1942. Predeceased by his two brothers and his wife, Kathy, Ted is survived by his daughter Nancy; sons and daughters-in-law Chris and Marcia, Jim and Diane, David and Sue, and John; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Ernest Penn Wellford of Richmond, VA died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, following a brief illness and hospitalization. He is survived by his spouse of 67 years, Rebecca Pilcher Wellford of Richmond; daughters Kathryn Wellford Stewart of Merchantville, N.J., Nancy Wellford Markon (John) of Midlothian, Rebecca Pilcher Wellford of Doswell, and Laura Simmons Chicklo (Jay) of Midlothian; and grandchildren Michael Ernest Turner of Glen Allen, Elizabeth Markon Oakland (Milo) of Charlottesville, and Tyler James Chicklo of Midlothian. Private burial in Westhampton Memorial Park, 2 p.m., May 13. Father Alfred J. Hewett, a priest of the Diocese of Camden for more than 60 years, died April 18 at the age of 95. Father Hewett graduated from Collingswood High School, served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps and the U.S. Army Air Corps then, attended Saint Joseph’s University. His first assignment was in Merchantville, as parochial vicar at Saint Peter Parish from 1956-63. Due to current restrictions, interment at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill will be held privately for his family.  A memorial Mass will be held when the current restrictions are lifted.  Donations may be made to Madonna House or Catholic Relief Services.

Elizabeth Louise McCoy died on April 8, 2020, at Spring Village Assisted Living Center in Galloway, NJ. Elizabeth was born on October 5, 1935 to Thomas and Matilda (Tilly) Graham. She attended Merchantville H.S., where she met and married John McCoy. John and Elizabeth were devoted to each another and were married for 60 years.
