Eilandarts Center has added more creative one-time workshops in August on Thursday and Friday, 8/18-20 and 8/25-27. They are opening their art studio and supplies to young artists. Whether kids feel inspired to paint, draw, or create a 3D piece, they can make whatever they want. While the time is theirs to freely create, a teacher will be present to help with any projects. Let your kids paint! We will create wonderful spring themed paintings on a canvas. ​Its lots of fun, bring a friend. Mosaic Arts is about creating beautiful works of art with an assortment of items. Your child can also spend the day learning how to cook everyone's favorite meal - pizza! We will make our pizzas from scratch and discover new vegetarian toppings. They are also offering a one day sewing workshop we will go over a couple of important sewing skills and make a pouch or pillow. Register TODAY for one, two or all of it.

Calling all Artists to the 3rd Annual Merchantville Art Walk. This year’s Art Walk will take place on May 1st, 6:00-9:00 p.m. It will be paired with the "First Friday“ market events in town. What is an Art Walk? Each participating business will share their space with a local artist and the artist’s work will be on display inside of the business for the night. The Art Walk encourages guests to stroll around town and visit each participating business to see, and hopefully, purchase the art. The goal is to benefit Artists AND Businesses. The fee for artists to participate is $25. Application deadline: March 14, 2020. All sales are handled by the artists and are 100% yours. The Eilandarts Center will organize pairing artists with businesses and coordinating the hanging of the show. We will also take care of the website, advertising, flyers, and postcards

Sweeten up your day with your sweetheart and decorate some Valentine's Day sugar cookies topped with frosting, sprinkles and candy hearts at The Station Coffee and Eilandarts Center. Registration is not required, but we did sell out of cookies during previous events. Please join us on Saturday, August 24th at 7:00 p.m. for Summer Italian al Fresco Pop-Up dinner. Merchantville's own Jolynn Deloach and Chef Justin Lingl will collaborate again to once more an Italian inspired menu highlighting the best of late Summer's vegetables. Join us outdoors for a four-course meal featuring a selection of antipasti, handmade pasta, pizza al taglio and dessert. This meal will be vegetarian and BYOB. $55 per person (tax/gratuity included). Be a part of the Summer Art Show at Eilandarts Center in August 2019. The theme for this year's Summer show is "Flowers and Trees" and artists can submit up to three pieces. Every piece of art submitted has to have the artist’s name, the title of the piece, and the price clearly written on the back. All pieces must be for sale and should be priced between $100-$350. Artists will receive 70% sales, 15% will go to the Eilandarts Center Gallery and 15% will be donated to the Merchantville Garden Club. Application deadline is July 20th. Entry fee is $15.
