William Brookes Metzler III passed away peacefully at his home in Merchantville on April 24, 2021. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Margaret (Zell) Metzler; He was a loving father to William "Billy" Metzler (Susan) and Jonathan Metzler (Leslie); Devoted and proud grandfather of Jonathan, Andrew and Joseph; Dear brother of Jeraldine (Harvey), Mary (Jerry), Anthony and Sabine (Dan). Bill happily and lovingly served his community throughout his life. In recent years, Bill also enjoyed serving the community through volunteering with the Niagara Fire Company and even working as a crossing guard for the children of Merchantville school.
