FB LIVE Information Session
On Friday, May 1st, the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers will be on Facebook Live to give updates about COVID-19 testing in Camden, community resources, and other important information. Join us at 12:00 p.m. for English and at 12:30 PM for Spanish. The Camden Coalition works to advance the field of complex care by implementing person-centered programs and piloting new models that address chronic illness and social barriers to health and wellbeing. Founded by Jeffrey Brenner, MD, their mission is to spark a field and movement that unites communities of caregivers in Camden and across the nation to improve the wellbeing of individuals with complex health and social needs. Schools Read to Students
In addition to lesson plans and activities in theses stay-at-home times Merchantville School has focused on connecting to students and MES through "read out louds" on Facebook. Parents and kids can tune in throughout the week to listen as teachers and administrators share stories. Merchantville CSA, Scott Strong, read Duck for President and Harold and the Purple Crayon, Krista Travaglini shared Peanut Butter and Cupcake and Spanish Teacher, Ms. Bonilla, read Say Hola to Spanish. Camden County Covid-19 Update
We know you have questions about coronavirus (COVID-19), how your government is responding to the needs of the community, and what is being done to mitigate the spread of the disease in Camden County. On Thursday, March 26th, at 3:00 p.m. Freeholder Lou Cappelli, Congressman Donald Norcross and Health & Human Services Director Anne E. Walters hosted a virtual town hall on Facebook Live. Residents were invited and encouraged to join in and have their questions answered via live chat and email. The video stream is available here.

Moms and dads who re looking for educational entertainment while schools and daycares are closed can join Miss Paige for "Little Readers Theatre" at a storytime right on Facebook LIVE! On Monday, March 16th at 10:30 a.m. Login to Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/camdencountylibrary and your kiddies can enjoy 45 minutes of silly stories, songs, felt board stories, and finger plays. While the Camden County Library System - and Merchantville Branch - has decided to cancel all on-site Library-sponsored programming until April 1st, they will be offering some virtual events and programs for the entire family.
