Edward Jungblut of Merchantville passed away into God's loving and eternal care Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. He was 83. Born in Beverly, he lived there and in Riverside, before moving to Merchantville. Mr. Jungblut was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and was a retiree from the Pennsylvania Railroad, where he worked for many years. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed watching military action movies on the history channel. An outdoorsman, he also liked crossword puzzles and watching the Philadelphia Phillies games.

Husband of the late Betty Jungblut, he is survived by his wife, Ruby (Gehret) Jungblut; his children, Debbi D'Agostino (Tony) of Marlton, Nancy Marter (Robert) of Delran and Mark Jungblut (Dawn) of Easton, Pa. He also is survived by a step-son, Richard Gehret Esq. of Southampton; a brother, Robert Jungblut (Shirley); and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, where relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
