The Evening Membership Department of the Woman’s Club of Merchantville will hold its monthly meeting and annual holiday gathering on Tuesday, December 11th. The festivities include a covered dish dinner
followed by a short business meeting, as well as a Pollyanna gift exchange. For the past few weeks, members have been collecting
and purchasing “Wish Lists” items to fill Christmas baskets for local families in need. This annual event gets bigger every year. Receiving families are thoroughly surprised and thankful when the baskets are delivered. This is just one activity of many that EMD members do during the year to give back to the community. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Merchantville Community Center.
