This morning Incredible Edible Merchantville was notified that Merchantville Borough’s submission, “The Merchantville Maple Project“, has been selected as one of three finalists in the Sustainable Jersey Success Stories Contest. Final placements for first, second, and third will be announced live at the Sustainable Jersey Annual Luncheon during the New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference on Tuesday, November 17th. Maple Project leaders, officials from the municipality and members of the Green Team are encouraged to attend. Finalist will be recognized at the luncheon and receive PSEG Foundation-funded awards ranging from $500 to $2,000.
This Contest provided an opportunity for municipalities to showcase initiatives that improve environmental outcomes, advance local sustainability goals, and contribute to a more sustainable New Jersey.
