The following class periods have been selected for parents to visit: 2nd period from 9:25-10:08 a.m.,  3rd period from 10:10-10:53 a.m., 6th period from 12:27-1:09 p.m. and 7th period from 1:11-1:53 p.m.

On Thursday, January 16th, the Girls Garnets from Haddon Heights High School won their fifth basketball game in a row and improved to 9-3 overall - extending their winning streak - and 6-1 in the Colonial Conference Liberty Division, a game behind first-place Haddon Township. Emma Harris buried four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points to lead Haddon Heights past Haddonfield 39-33 in Haddonfield. Freeholders Jeffrey Nash and Scot McCray read to children in Merchantville on Friday as part of this year’s Read Across America celebration.  The Read Across America program is now in its 15th year, and takes place annually on or near March 2 - the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Freeholder Nash read “Oh Say Can You Say What The Weather Is Today” and “Miles and Miles of Reptiles.”

On Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight St. Peter's PTA will host their 2nd Annual Monte Carlo Casino Night at the Lenola Fire Hall in Moorestown, NJ. It’s a casino themed fundraiser where a professional gaming company provides table games for roulette, blackjack, etc. Tickets cost $50 per person and covers entry, food and drink and a “bank” of chips.

The earlier you purchase your event ticket, the more bonus chips you will receive. Winning chips be “cashed in" for chances on prize baskets that will be drawn at the end of the night. Additional chips and purchase chances can be purchased throughout the evening. Additionally, rounding out the Casino theme, will be a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament. The Tournament will culminate in a final round with awards of Visa gift cards for first and second place. Each seat costs $50. There will be a limited number of seats (50) available. Paid entry into the Casino Night is a pre-requisite for admission into the Poker Tournament. Tickets will be on sale after the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday and after the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday.
