County Clerk Pamela Lampitt will be providing weekly updates on the elections and how to vote. Vote By Mail ballots started hitting mailboxes last week. Here are some upcoming important election dates to keep in mind. Last day to register to vote: May 20th. Last day to apply for VBM by mail: June 3rd. Sample ballots mailed: June 4th. Early voting runs: June 6th-8th. Last day to apply in-person for VBM: June 9th. Primary in-person voting: June 10th. Once you receive and complete your ballot, drop it in any of the 29
drop box locations throughout the county. Drop boxes are well lit and monitored by video surveillance cameras. Ballots are collected daily at the drop box locations by a bipartisan team. With the new voting machines, the Vote by Mail ballot is the same ballot as in-person voting. Make sure your vote is counted by signing up for a Vote by Mail ballot.
