Our retired teachers - Ms. Fields, Ms. Turan, Ms. Harvey-Wilson, Ms. Ransom, and Ms. Batterman - returned as guest readers demonstrating their dedication to instilling a love of reading and lifelong enthusiasm and commitment to educational learning. And, a huge shoutout to the incredible Merchantville community for joining us as guest readers and exemplifying the importance of fostering a love for literature

in our learners. Our students had a blast walking around the community and participating in engaging read-aloud sessions. Special thanks to the Merchantville Police Department,  Merchantville Fire Department - Niagra fire Company, Merchantville Library, The Blue Monkey Tavern, and The Station Coffee for your enthusiastic participation and unwavering support Merchantville School also had the pleasure of hosting the talented author Tami Charles during Read Across Merchantville week. A big thank you to our incredible PTA for arranging this inspiring event. Tami Charles, the author of "Because You Matter," captivated our students with her journey to becoming an author and encouraged them to pursue their own writing dreams. Thank you, Tami Charles, for sharing your story and igniting a passion for writing in our students! Let's continue to inspire and empower our future writers. Let's inspire each other one page at time and continue to remind everyone that you're never too old to enjoy a captivating read-aloud.
