Camden County hazardous waste collections began on on Saturday, March 25th. During these collections, county residents can bring hazardous materials not suited to be thrown out into the regular garbage such as antifreeze, oil-based paints, weed killer, household cleansers and more. The next five collection dates will be held on April 15th at the Public Works Complex. 713 N. Atlantic Avenue, in Collingswood; May 6th in the parking area at the corner of Atco and Raritan avenues, in Atco; June 10th at the Camden County Public Works
Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold; September 23th at the Sanitary Landfill, 9600 N. River Road, Pennsauken; and, October 14th at the Camden County Public Works Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold. At each collection, all residents must show proof of residency and remain in their vehicles throughout the event.
