LIGHT, PARTICULARLY: An Art Show & Sale of Alice Steer Wilson Originals to Benefit MAC
Revisit the Jersey shore all winter long through the art of former resident Alice Steer Wilson. She loved her family first, her painting and teaching close behind, and she loved- loved being part of the Cape May renaissance, between 1970 and 2001. Active proponent and teacher of local artists/entrepreneurs with the partnership of husband, Fred. She saw beauty and possibility where others saw only work and investment. Her paintings inspired all and will be on public display and for sale in Alice's Congress Street home on Friday, October 2nd from 5-9 p.m.

If Corella’s penchant for speed has given the organization an energy boost, it’s also resulted in some casualties. In a move just days after he officially started at the helm, the company abruptly dismissed its longtime ballet master, ballet mistress and the director of its affiliated school and second company. The three – Jeffrey Gribler, and Merchantville residents Tamara Hadley and William DeGregory, had all also enjoyed long careers as star dancers with the company.
