Wellness Center Adds Practitioner

Merchantville Medical Wellness Center recently announced the addition of Houtaneh Houtan, NMD, who joins Dr. Jennifer Phillips in offering naturopathic medicine to area residents. Houtan studied biochemistry at Syracuse University as an pre-med undergraduate, where she discovered the need for holistic medicine alternatives then,g raduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2019 . Naturopathy focuses on the critical role that natural medicine can play in the realm of reversing disease. Her favorite medicines include clean nutrition, botanicals and homeopathy.
