Dorothy Young, 77

Dorothy C. Young, longtime Pennsauken resident passed away Friday, August 2, 2019. She was 77. Dorothy had retired after many years working at the Cinnaminson and Maple Shade Acme. A devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville, Dorothy was also very dedicated to serving in the church food pantry. She is survived by two loving children, Peter LaBrie, Jeannine LaBrie; three cherished grandchildren, Sean LaBrie, Patrick LaBrie, Carmen LaBrie; three caring siblings, William Young Jr. (Bette), Thomas Young (Sigrid), Linda Rice (Andy); and several nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held 11 am, Friday, August 9th at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville, 10 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109 or by means of non-perishable food to the church food pantry that will assist those in need.
