We are hosting an exciting evening of fun and basket auctions at our Spring Quartermania fundraiser on Friday, April 28th. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with games kicking off at 7:00 p.m at The Happy Hour
Social and Athletic Club of Maple Shade, 746 E Laurelton Ave, Maple Shade, NJ. Tickets are $30 which includes entry, two paddles, beer, wine and soft drinks. Please get your tickets today! Reserve a table together - it will be so much fun! Please mark your calendar and spread the word. All proceeds benefit Merchantville Elementary School.
What is Quartermania? A Quartermania is a cross between an auction and a bingo where people ‘bid’ to win an item donated from guild members, local businesses and various home businesses participating in the event. Bids on these new items range from 1 to 8 quarters and there are usually between 40 and 60 basket items auctioned off. Admission includes your numbered auction paddle. Rules are fully explained before the fun begins!
Thank you all - those that attended, those that tried “Quartermania” for the first time (bid and no bid), to all the room parent who created the amazing grade baskets, to the MES teachers and staff for their awesome donation and endless support of the PTA. To all the local businesses, and to all of our parents and friends, who donated baskets for the auction, we appreciate you all. And to our amazing volunteers who ran this first time and fun event!
