Beginning May 1st, Eclipse Brewing will be selling plants on-site at 25 East Park Avenue. Chris Mattern, owner of our town microbrewery has been a horticulturalist for over 30 years. His knowledge of all things plant has lead him to grow hops for crafting beer on the side of the former Merchantville EMS building. Additionally, he tends to an annual garden - filled with veges along his driveway. This winter he arranged to use the greenhouse behind the former Wirth Florist building on Centre Street to nurture lots of tomato, pepper,
zinnias and other seedlings to sell this Spring. Add your effort to those of our Susutainable Merchantville partners! Stop by to grab some plants and grow your own vegetables - the health benefits are exponential given the nutrients, sunshine, and exercise gained through vegetable gardening.
