New Jersey's 2012 November school elections will take place on Tuesday, November 6th, the date of the General Election. Merchantville will have four (4) open seats on the ballot, 3 – three year terms and 1 – two year term. On May 8, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. a public hearing will be held before the Planning Board of the Borough of Merchantville at the Borough Hall on the application of Ato Swann for a variance to permit Retail Sales, Retail Sales of Prepackaged Food, and Charge for Admission. The Borough of Merchantville invites proposals for development of 29 Volan Street, Merchantville, NJ. The Borough will receive sealed proposals on Tuesday, May 22nd no later than 10:00 a.m. The minimum bid is $50,000. Proposal packages are on file and may be examined at the Office of the Borough Clerk. Proposals for a Locker Room Alterations project and School Fire Doors have been requested by Merchantville Elementary School. School seeks lawn maintenance bids
The Merchantville School District is seeking proposals for lawn service work at the District’s Field Complex and School Building property including the removal and disposal of grass, weed whacking, applying lawn feeding, cutting and weed removal, mulching around shrubs and snow removal.
PUBLIC NOTICE: Household Metals Thefts
All residents are urged to secure any items around your household that are made from metals such as copper, brass, aluminum and steel. We have recently experienced a number of thefts in town of items made from various household and industrial metals for selling to scrap yards.
