Summer Art Offerings

Eilandarts Center is offering week-long, themed art camps provide children with a range of classes and themes to fit any artistic interest. Students are encouraged to imagine and explore creatively, while making their own artistic masterpieces. Each week children will have the opportunity to learn a new craft. July 5-8 enjoy learning Papermaking and Sculpting, Painting and Mixed Media​ or Stop Motion Creations. July 11-15 try your hand at ​​ArtSplosions! Art + Science​​, Love to Sew!, Combining & Creating or Animals and Art. And, July 18-22 Art Explorations, Band Camp, Nature & Art Proijects or Fantasy Sculpture & Problem Solving. COVID: Our classes are held in the big room at Eilandarts Center where we can spread out and create art in a save way. Limited spots for all classes to keep them small. Masks are not required, but feel free to wear it. Please register to save your spot.

Online Art Exhibit

"Artists in the time of Coronavirus" is an ongoing virtual exhibition published by Artblog - an independent online publication that fosters dialog and community through commentary and discussion about art and culture. Their primary focus is on the Philadelphia region and they have received over 200 submissions. Their twentieth post of the series included artists, Gerri Spilka and Laura Lyn Stern, both currently on exhibit at Eilandarts in Merchantville, NJ. If you want to participate, send your statement (250 words max) and 2 photos to This email address is being protected from spambots. Call For Entries

Eilandarts will celebrate 2019 Halloween in Monsterville and dedicate our monthly gallery show to all things Mystical and Magic – Dark and Light. No size restrictions. Any media- must be ready to hang (small sculptures accepted- please check with Nicole to make sure size is ok). Artists can submit up to 3 pieces. October Show will run from 10/1-10/31. Timeline: September 18th, Deadline for entries; September 21st, Acceptance notice; September 28th Drop off work- 12:00pm-3:00pm (or by prior arrangement); Show: October 1st – 31st; and, November 2nd Pick up work between 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. or by prior arrangement.
