Grab Some Crêpes Today

Charlie's Crepes on the Merchantville Circle had their first “zero contact” curbside pickup today. The customer called in their order into 856-320-9511, provided a charge card that Charlie ran through his “virtual” terminal, and then they picked it up curbside at this unique crêperie takeout window. He found that it went amazingly smoothly. Bottom line, Charlie's Crepes is happy to meet you at your comfort level, safe distance inside, or no contact curbside, either way you’re in the drivers seat so - keep calm, be smart, eat crepes! Charlie's Instagram feed features daily specials! Hours: W-F: 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 - 8:00 p.m., Sat: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and, Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Taste with Tori

In this video clip Tori Woodill takes you to Merchantville. “Keep calm and eat crepes,” is the motto at Charlie’s Crepes. According to the New Jersey-based renaissance man, his locally sourced, seasonal, and original crepe fillings are created like that of his original songs. They just happen! “I think it’s a culmination of what I’ve read, my life experiences, everything,” says Charlie. “It’s a spark.” And, to spark your interest, they have plenty of specials and, of course, the classics like ham and cheese!

Schober Crepes @ Charlie's

Have you ever heard of a Schober crepe? How about roasted pork “Charlie” style with teriyaki. What’s that on top - a few Schober vanilla bourbon peaches and the house made teriyaki sauce. And with peaches in season, expect some creations dressed with Schober Orchards vanilla-bourbon peaches, salted caramel and candied pecans.  Schober’s is a fourth generation family farm, a refreshing step back in time and if you're Charlie, from Charlie's Crepes in Merchantville, where you'll find the freshest local produce in season. As you drive past the lush rows of fruit trees on 275 beautiful acres of preserved farmland, you may see our workers hand-picking the fruit during harvest. And depending on the season, you'll see baskets of colorful, delicious apples, peaches or nectarines as you enter their lot. As Charlie says, “If you’re using good quality local ingredients, you feel good.”  Dining hours are: Wednesday and Friday 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; and, Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Food Foraging

Located in the heart of downtown Merchantville, NJ, Park Place Cafe & Restaurant serves up delicious handcrafted foods highlighting specialty ingredients they forage themself. Chefs around the world are using foraged ingredients to add exciting, fresh and eco-friendly flavors to their menus. By searching for herbs, fruits and roots from the wild, they create fresh, flavorful dishes. They also champion sustainable practices, indigenous produce and a sense of adventure. Ultimately, foraging chefs like Phil Mangano foster a personal connection with the earth and bring diners unique experiences closer to nature.
