Beginning in February, customers with a Camden County Library card will be able to download over 100 popular magazines through Zinio, a digital newsstand offered to subscribing libraries. Magazines will be easy to download and view on a computer or on a range of mobile devices, including the iPad, Android tablet and the Kindle Fire. The service will provide access to a range of magazines popular with customers, including Consumer Reports, Car & Driver, Ladies Home Journal, Vibe, VIV Magazine and Newsweek, which is no longer available in a print version. All magazines will be complete editions, with some including enhanced content such as audio and video. There is no waiting list and no need to return issues.
The County is proud to be one of the first libraries in South Jersey to offer this innovative, convenient service. Zinio is the latest addition to a growing collection of digital services. In February, the staff of the Camden County Librar will be ready to help customers with setting up Zinio accounts and viewing magazines. Information will be available on the library’s home page at or by calling one of the eight branches located in Bellmawr, Camden, Gloucester Twp., Haddon Twp., Merchantville, South County or Voorhees.
