If you get your gas in the Garden State, you're going to have shell out a little extra cash beginning Monday. That's when a 4.3 cent hike in the state's gas tax takes effect, which will make New Jersey the fifth highest gas tax in the country. "We were just getting steady with the gas prices," said New Jersey resident Tyrone Wallace. "Now they needed more money since prices got lower. Now prices are going up. This is the highest gas has been in almost two years."
