Camden County needs volunteers to help with refurbishing donated bikes for its Bikeshare program, which seeks to provide bicycles on loan or permanent use for people in communities throughout the County that become local BikeShare members. Repairs are done Tuesday evenings from 5:30-8 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.- noon. Prior knowledge and bike repair skills are appreciated, but not needed.
Volunteers work out of the Regan Building in the Lakeland Complex at 508 Lakeland Road in Blackwood. Those interested should call Jack Sworaski, Director of the Division of Environmental Affairs at (856) 858-5241. For more information about the program click here.
