Officer Matthew Rulli achieved rank of Sergeant as he took the oath of office from Mayor Brennan on Monday evening, December 14th. The ceremony, which took place at 7:00 p.m. in front of Borough Hall, included a gathering of family, friends and municipal officials, as well as, many brother officers from neighboring police departments. Sergeant Rulli has been protecting and serving the Merchantville community for many years and earned this well-deserved promotion as he has been fighting pancreatic cancer.
