At the Borough Council meeting on March 9th, Mayor Brennan introduced Ordinance 15-02 to regulate the use of tobacco products in all public buildings and spaces owned, operated or used for official business by the municipality, including public areas and recreation facilities. The public hearing for this Smoke-Free Ordinance will take place on Monday, April 13, 2015 in Council chambers at 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hall, 1 West Maple Avenue. After public comment it will be considered for adoption. The ordinance will be added as Chapter 83A and is available for viewing prior to the meeting.
