Pennsauken Township has been awarded a $10,000 Sustainable Jersey Small Grant funded by the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a feasibility study for the extension of the existing Merchantville rail trail east from Cove Road to Haddonfield Road. The project will promote health and wellness for residents of Merchantville, Pennsauken and surrounding communities by connecting the trail for walkers and bicyclists.

Judith Kristen, long-time columnist for All Around Pennsauken and renowned author, is publishing her newest chil- dren’s book, “The Flower Children: A Story of Peace, Love, and All Good Things.”The story, which has a decidedly Beatles theme, focuses on the impor- tance of family and friendship.
