Firefighter I/II finished up their structural firefighting training this past weekend with Day of Action on Saturday and Live Fire on Sunday. Plant Operators are responsible for monitoring and documenting all water treatment plant operations and are trained in the operation of plant functions. The annual meeting of Merchantville's Historical Society is this Wednesday, October 25th, 7:30 p.m., at the Merchantville Community Center, 212 Somerset Avenue. All residents and friends are welcome to attend this free event. The theme of this year's meeting is the maintenance and preservation of the area's well-aged homes. Three homeowners who have done significant remodeling and restoration will review and discuss their project journeys.
