More than 60 kids poured themselves into the Boys & Girls Club Saturday to learn a few lessons about water safety. Sponsored by the Middle Atlantic Swimming’s Diversity Committee and former Olympic hopeful Danielle Strader-Bordi of Merchantville, Water Safety Day
gave the children a chance to partake in activities to prepare themselves for the upcoming pool and shore season. “Water safety is always an issue,” Strader-Bordi told the children. “You could find yourself in a situation that you’re not comfortable with and you might panic. “So we’re going to make sure you don’t panic when you’re out in the water.” http://on.cpsj.com/JyzsNy
