On Jan. 16, 2020, Virginia, nee Oldershaw, age 93 years, beloved wife of the late Robert Edgar of Moorestown, NJ. Devoted mother of Jane Homon ( Peter Jr), Leslie Polansky ( John), and Judith Smith, and the late Stephen Smith. Loving grandmother of five grandchildren, and great grandmother of ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Edgar was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Collingswood, NJ. She taught Sunday School, and delivered altar flowers to “shut ins”to brighten their day. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and  was an avid seamstress. Most importantly, she faithfully, and consistently prayed for her family and friends, both for their needs , and blessings as they arose. Cheryl A. Disch, age 57, of Merchantville NJ passed away suddenly at home on January 19, 2020. She was a Senior Manager-Marketing Information Systems with Duane Morris, LLP in Philadelphia, PA. Cheryl was also a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Communications. She was past co-chair of ILTA, an avid Buffalo Bills fan, Disney devotee and dog lover. She is survived by her parents Robert and Marge (nee Zuk) Disch, one sister Karen Disch and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday from 2:00 PM-4:00 p.m. and 7:00 PM-9:00 p.m. in the Alloway Funeral Home, 315 E. Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ. Theresa Pino North, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th at Virtua Rehabilitation, Lumberton, N.J. She was 96. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Herbert North, Jr. She leaves behind her three children, Frank M. North (Lynn) of Merchantville, N.J., Edna North Boyer of Burlington, N.J. and Terri North Lenhart of Asheville, N.C., also long time loving companion, Fran (Elmer) Verner. Theresa also leaves behind two sisters, Frances Smith of Levittown, Pa. and Catherine Miller of Exeter, N.H., her sister-in-law, Yvonne North Astor (Richard) of Burlington, N.J., plus 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Children's Home Society, 635 S. On January 8, 2020, age 90, of Merchantville, NJ. Tom was the beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Storey) and the late Clare (nee Kraus). He was the loving father of Thomas P. Jr. (Susan), Christine (Ray) Lodge, James (Eileen) and Daniel (Linda). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren Kevin and Rachel Duffy, Ryan (Jenna) and Kyle Lodge, Jennifer (Bo) Smith and Kathleen, Daniel and Faith Duffy; one brother Joseph Duffy and several nieces and nephews. On Monday; January 20, 2020, at age 61, Stephanie Beth Heller (Cooper) of Merchantville, NJ, previously of Delray Beach, FL passed peacefully after a long battle with lung cancer. She was the beloved mother of Ross Heller (Erica) and Abby Segal (Lee), wife of Mitchell Heller, sister of Linda Kerner (Steven) and Steven Shear, and daughter of Debbie Cooper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her father Jerald Cooper, her mother Rochelle Cooper and her sister Terri Cooper. Stephanie was a dedicated mother to her two children as well as the many students she nurtured as a teacher in the Philadelphia City School District. Ricardo "Rick" Taylor, Pennsauken's former mayor, longtime public servant, educator and tireless advocate for charitable works in the Diocese of Camden, died after a long illness on Friday, January 10th, at age 73. Ricardo Vincent Taylor Jr. affectionately known as "Rick" was born May 1, 1946, in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Ricardo Vincent Taylor Sr. and Nettie E. Taylor. He was educated at Holy Spirit School in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania and graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and The University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Rick earned his Masters of Arts in education administration from Glassboro State College (Rowan University). Rick leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife of 50 years Bernice, son Scott (Donyelle), daughter Holly, three grandchildren Alexandra, Jeremy, and Amelia.
