As a third-generation Funeral Director, Matthew Gaskill, owner of Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, has been actively involved in the funeral service for over twenty years. And, as a Borough resident, he and his wife, Mary-Elizabeth and their daughter, Meredith, have been dedicated to the local community. Matt is President of the Merchantville Task Force, Chairman of the Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce, a parishioner at St. Peter R.C. Church, Past President and member of the Burlington County and West Jersey Funeral Directors Association. He's also a member of numerous community and charitable organizations. Nicole Nurthen Photography is offering Sunflower mini's - adding wildflower field mini's as well. On July 13th Nicole will be doing Sunflower minis from 6:00-7:00 p.m., then a Wildflower field from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Sessions will be 15 minutes in length and you receive three (3) digitals for his package at a cost of $120 plus tax. Many Merchantville churches have published their events and services for Easter week on their websites and Facebook pages. These services include the Solemn Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, 7:00 p.m., Stations of the Cross on Good Friday and several Easter masses at St. Peter Church, the Stations of the Cross at Grace Episcopal Church on Friday at noon, followed by a Good Friday service at 7:00 p.m. Trinity United Methodist Church will have an Easter Sunday worship service at 10:45 a.m. and First Presbyterian Church will meet in the sanctuary for a service of Scripture and prayer on Good Friday, April 19th at noon, the Seed of Life will have a worship service beginning at 7:30 p.m. and Easter Sunday service at 10:00 a.m. High Place Church will have three services on Easter Sunday, in English at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., followed by a Spanish service at 1:30 p.m. to Celebrate the Risen King.
