Shockley, who will speak on “The Underground Railroad in South Jersey,” at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21st, at the Community Center. Mrs. Shockley is president and a founding member of the Lawnside Historical Society, Inc., where she learned the unique history of the town shaped and governed by African Americans.
