The 9th Annual Jeff Bajek Memorial Surf Fishing Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026. This event will be a team and individual tournament. A team requires 6 anglers and registration is $100.00. Individual registration is $20.00. Registration checks can be mailed payable to Merchantville Fishing Club and addressed to MFC Tournament Chair, c/o Kevin Greaves, 310 Perry Rd., Petersburg, NJ 08270. Registration site is Surf City Fire Hall. 1st Fishing Session: 5:30 to 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 a.m.; 2nd Fishing Session:
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hot lunch to be served upon completion of fishing. Raffles & Awards to follow at Surf City Fire Hall.
Tournament Headquarters: Surf City Fire Hall, 813 Long Beach Bvld., Surf City, NJ 08088. Beach buggy permits have been waived for the Tournament. Only vehicles with 4 wheel drive and aired down tires (18 psi recommended) are permitted on the beach. Please try to limit vehicles to 3 buggies per team.
