At its April meeting, the Redevelopment Committee identified the following goals for the redevelopment area:

1. Pedestrian-oriented
2. Create a destination or network of destinations that will attarct people to the downtown. 
3. Create a sense of space with architectural character.
4. Financially feasible for the redeveloper.
5. Adequate parking for downtown
