For over 60 years, Woodbine has offered families like yours not just the pools to play in, but a home away from home for the summer. Opening Day at Woodbine Swim Club is Saturday, May 27th, and their Memorial Day Weekend Hours are Saturday: 11 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Sunday: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Woodbine has been described as a "hidden oasis".  Nestled off the hustle and bustle of Maple Ave., the club has been home to its members since 1958.

Continuing one of IE Merchantville's small action, edible garden projects for the 4th year in a row began today with a lot of weeding, laying of barrier paper and adding topsoil and compost in hopes of making the 2023 growing season along the tennis court wall at Wellwood Park a successful one. Joan Brennan and her grandson, Jack, worked to clear the brick perimeter planter of leaves, weeds and debris before prepping the area with a fresh layer of nitrogen enriched topsoil. Thanks to a generous bequeathment from Merchantville residents Walter and Marie J. Carroll, Merchantville School students enjoy a wide variety of opportunities to learn more about the arts and enrich their educational experiences. During the 2021-2022 school year, 24 college-aged eligible students were awarded $97,000 and $50,685 was spent on school projects including academic field trips and art enrichment field trips, student art programs, various clubs, and musical supplies.
