Happy Mother's Day to all women who have raised a child with selfless care and affection. Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. This year this special day is dedicated to all women around the world for their sacrifices, dedication and love for their children. The Annual Blue Monkey Springfest returns on Saturday, April 27th! Join us for an exciting lineup featuring over 25 Local, National, and European breweries at South Jersey’s premier Beer Festival. Proverb Wines will be pouring too. The Fest kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m. DJ Jay Rose will be spinning all night and outdoor dining will be available if you want to grab a quick bite. Hannah Hidalgo’s Notre Dame rolled into Sweet 16 with 71-56 win over Ole Miss three days ago. Hidalgo, a Merchantville native and Paul V1 grad, had 19 points, four rebounds and four assists - one of three Fighting Irish players to hit double figures in scoring. Hannah is one of just five freshmen to ever earn first-team All-America honors in women's hoops, Rookie of the year and defensive player of the year in the venerable Atlantic Coast Conference

On Saturday, March 9th, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Grace Church in Merchantville will host a cupcake decorating event for children ages 8 and up. Come grab a bag of frosting and make a mess in our kitchen! Eat cake, decorate cake, and take what you make. This fun event will teach children how to have fun decorating cupcakes, meet other kids and make friends.  Our cupcake themes will be St. Patrick ’s Day and Easter. Snacks and drinks provided during the event.
