Grayson, who matched the description given by the teen following the thefts, was riding a black, red and white mountain bike when Merchantvtille Sgt. Gregg Miller spotted him near the site of the thefts, police said. After the teen identified both Grayson as the man who stole the bikes and the mountain bike as his property, officers searched Grayson's house and found the second bike in Grayson's back yard, police said. Grayson had used vice grips and regular pliers to break the locks on both bikes, police said, and those tools were also found in the back yard along with the second bike. Grayson was charged with theft, criminal mischief, defiant trespassing and possession of burglary tools, and was released on four summonses, pending an April 17 court date.
